Learning Innovation Practice Limited is the controller of personal information covered by this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17325051. Our registered office is Suite 2, 1-3 Warren Court, Park Road, Crowborough, TN6 2QX.

Information we collect

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, organisation, role, and any other information you include in your message or later correspondence.

This is a static website and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. GitHub Pages logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes and may process other basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, understand potential work, prepare and deliver services, manage professional relationships, administer the company, protect our systems, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Depending on the context, our lawful basis is taking steps before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing the business and responding to professional enquiries.

Sharing and international processing

We may use trusted providers for website hosting, email, document storage, and other business systems, and professional advisers where necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use providers and safeguards intended to protect personal information in line with applicable data protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including managing a professional relationship, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive certain information in a portable form. You can contact us using the email address above.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.

AIAS Advisor plugin

The AIAS Advisor is a plugin maintained by Learning Innovation Practice Limited. It contains assessment-design instructions and reference materials that are used within ChatGPT. This version has no connected app, publisher-operated server, external account sign-in or tracking code.

The plugin package has no mechanism to send your conversations, uploaded assessment briefs or other chat content to Learning Innovation Practice. OpenAI processes this information under the terms, privacy arrangements and data controls applicable to your ChatGPT account. Your institution may have additional requirements about the information you provide to ChatGPT.

We do not operate a separate store of conversations or assessment uploads for this plugin, so there is no publisher-operated retention period for those materials. We cannot access or delete your ChatGPT conversations through the plugin. Use the controls provided by ChatGPT to manage your chat history and data settings.

If you contact us for support or send an assessment example directly to us, we receive the information you choose to include. The information, purposes, service-provider categories, retention approach and rights described elsewhere in this privacy notice apply to that direct correspondence. An anonymised example is normally enough for support.
